MBSR Program
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

🌿 MBSR — Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

An 8-week program for exploring a more mindful relationship with stress, the body, the mind, and everyday life.

Perhaps there are times when your mind simply won’t slow down, when you find yourself running on autopilot, or when you long for a little more space between what happens and how you respond.

MBSR offers a structured space in which you can slow down, observe, and practise — with no previous mindfulness experience required.

What is MBSR?

MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) was developed in 1979 by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and is one of the most extensively researched mindfulness-based interventions.

Research suggests that mindfulness-based programs may help reduce stress and symptoms of anxiety and depression for some people.

MBSR is secular, structured, and experiential. You don't need to empty your mind or know how to meditate.

Instead, it is an invitation to pay closer attention to what is happening — in your body, in your mind, and in your life — and to explore new ways of responding.

How does it work?

8 weeks
Weekly sessions of approximately 2.5–3 hours.

Daily practice
Approximately 45–60 minutes a day, supported by guided audio recordings and practice materials.

A full day of practice
A dedicated space for deeper practice and exploration at a slower pace.

Practice & dialogue
Guided meditation, movement practices, exploration of stress and personal experience, and group dialogue

Who is it for?

For adults who feel the need to slow down, pay closer attention to their own experience, and explore a more mindful way of responding to stress and everyday challenges.

No previous meditation experience is required.

All you need is a willingness to practice and explore.

Is MBSR right for you?

Because mindfulness practice can be intense for some people, the program is not recommended during periods of acute depression, in cases of suicidal risk, active psychotic disorders, or psychological situations that require specialized clinical intervention as a priority.

If you have a history of trauma or PTSD, participation may require an adapted approach, and we recommend discussing this with me beforehand.

If you have any concerns about whether the program is appropriate for your circumstances, I encourage you to contact me before registering.

If you feel this is the right time to explore

You don't need to know in advance what you will find during these eight weeks.

You may discover greater clarity. You may notice things you hadn't noticed before. You may learn to stay a little closer to your own experience.

Or perhaps you will simply discover that you can be here.
